Nutaku.net Rolls Out Inclusive Redesign, Official Open Beta Coming Soon
Montreal — Nutaku.net is poised to become the first adult gaming platform to ever roll out a redesign that boasts an inclusive new interface.
On Monday August 19, Nutaku took center stage at their first ever Game Developer Conference in Cologne, Germany. Attendees got a sneak peek of what Nutaku has in the pipeline, all built to accommodate the growth of adult gamers.
The redesign enables users to take advantage of several new features. For instances, a built-in search bar and games filter simplifies users’ exploration of available free-to-play and premium titles. The redesign also features the ability to toggle a sexual preference selector on or off, filtering preferences. The selector reinforces the platform’s dedication to making adult gaming more inclusive.
“We’ve had a massive influx of players over the past four years, going from one million registered users at the end of 2015, to over 35 million to date,” said Nutaku’s Communications Manager Julie Hall. “Given these numbers, we wanted to upgrade the platform’s user experience to accommodate our growing community.”
According to Hall, a closer look at new players coming to the platform revealed a growth in women gamers — from six percent in 2015 to 21 percent today. There has also been an increase in LGBTQ+ gamers, who went from less than one precent of Nutaku users in 2015 to six percent after the launch the platform’s new LGBTQ+ section in December 2018.
“[These increases] called for implementing some new features to provide the best gaming experience for all of our users today and going into the coming years,” Hall explained.
Other new features include a favorites tab and a dark layout option with light and dark mode switching capabilities.
Players and other interested parties should stay tuned for the platform’s open beta, where they will be encouraged to check out the new design and features and provide valuable feedback. To preview the redesign, go here.
