Nudists in “Mini-Riot” Over Textiles in Their Midst
QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA — Two tourists who happened into the middle of a swinger party at a nudist resort set off what local authorities called a “mini-riot” when they refused to remove their clothes in accordance with resort policy.White Cockatoo resort owner Tony Fox said the trouble started when three female naturists complained about the behavior of a “textile” (non-nudist) who would not stop eyeing them lewdly.
Police were called to remove the fully clothed Brisbane man and his wife after the man threatened Fox, according to a report in the The Courier Mail.
The women “felt uncomfortable with him eyeing them off, and I asked him to show some respect and take his clothes off,” Fox told the newspaper.
“He then threatened to bash me, there was some argy-bargy and I ordered him off the premises.”
The incident was more than the White Cockatoo bargained for when it scheduled a month of sex parties in March to boost revenues during a lull in tourist season.
Swinger parties are not an entirely new venture for the resort. Once billed as Australia’s top swinger hotspot, the resort converted to family style naturism several years ago. Last year the White Cockatoo made international headlines when it reversed its position and lifted the self-imposed swinger ban.
