TEMPE, Ariz. – One of The Phoenix Forum’s most popular events began 10 years ago as a legitimate competition chiefly populated by men. As things have a way of doing in the adult industry, the event evolved into a spectacle involving only women.

Babes will take to the court at 4 p.m. Saturday for the annual shenanigans known as JuicyDodgeBall. Teams fielded by hosts JuicyAds and Affil4You will face off in an epic battle for the right to remain clothed…unless they all decide to get naked. One never knows.

Stuck in the middle: usually well-behaved attorney Corey Silverstein, who will serve as referee, and YNOT Vice President Jay Kopita, who will serve as emcee and rabble-rouser.

“Naked Dodgeball is a tradition at The Phoenix Forum,” said JuicyJay, organizer of the madness that annually attracts 400-500 spectators. “Once upon a time it was webmasters, but now with hot models running around doing all sorts of crazy stuff, it’s become quite a spectator sport — and the open bar doesn’t hurt.

“It’s definitely a must-see if you haven’t been,” he added. “Make sure to tweet us your photos.”

Kopita said he can’t wait for what he called a “very serious sporting event” to commence.

“It’s like watching a pillow fight,” he said. “I’ll be on a mic for two hours giving the play-by-play, shilling and generally keeping things moving by interjecting my usual dirty, middle-aged, old-man repartee.”

Who suspected he knew such big words?

According to Kopita, the shenanigans conform to typical dodgeball rules … but nobody cares.

“It’s more about watching chicks get naked and throw balls at each other,” he said. “Regular game play is interrupted repeatedly for photo ops, girl-on-girl make-out sessions and whatever other tomfoolery creeps in unannounced.”
