Newbies Helping Newbies

It has been mentioned many times on several different boards that NEWBIES need to get together and help each other out. I do not think that many people understand this concept but it is simple if you think about it. If a NEWBIE like myself is not good with graphics and html, but likes to talk to people and market things and sell stuff, then he/she should be willing to barter with say a graphic designer, i.e. graphics work on their site for marketing tips and such on the designers site.
I know it is hard to imagine the concept of bartering in a business filled with lots of scandal and cutthroat activity but it is very simple as I said. I know their are a few out there who are willing to do this because I deal with a couple here and there on my site and as a NEWBIE I am willing to work with just about anyone who will help me. Their are a few people who have earned free advertising for life on my site just because they listened and provided input on the problems I was having and to those I am eternally grateful. I am willing to trade services for just about anything there is.
Free?
Now let us talk about that little word free. What out there is actually FREE when you think about it? Take free hosting for example; most free hosts require a top and bottom banner spot, which leaves you with very little space on the page for your content and advertisements. If you are like me and cannot afford a premium hosting service then you are stuck in this bottomless pit of limited space. The solution to this would be one of several things: deal with it, give up, or hope you scrounge enough from good sponsors to invest in a premium hosting service.
Myself, I prefer to deal with it, but it is just not as satisfying as when you open a page without a hosting banner at the top of the page. The main reason I deal with it is because my host has a reseller program. If you give up then you are telling yourself that there is no hope for a better tomorrow, and as I have read in many articles and comments you never know unless you try, so never ever give up!
Now the hope of scrounging enough from good sponsors to invest in a premium hosting service is not a far off shot, there are great sponsors out there that pay good money and make it all worth while and if you think about it you would be doing PROPER business if you invest your earnings into your "WEB SITE BUISNESS", after all isn’t that what all good business men and women do?
I guess you would say the moral of the story is a dual one: don’t give up, and help each other out. If anyone is interested in the barter system or at least a free host with a reseller program, please email me at: webmaster@nomad-incorporated.com.
