New Winners Stand Out at YNOT Grand Prix Montreal
MONTREAL – First place in Thursday night’s YNOT Grand Prix may have gone to a familiar face on the circuit, but the other two finishers—hot on his tail during the death-match’s final laps—were not among the usual suspects.
When the final checkered flag fell, Thomas P. from Plugrush had claimed top bragging rights and a shiny trophy. Second-place finisher Simon from Action Payout Services and third-place anchor Nick from First Mobile Cash received slightly smaller awards but were just as vocal in victory.
“The YNOT Grand Prix at Qwebec Expo is one of my favorites every year,” said race coordinator and YNOT Group LLC Vice President Jay Kopita. “The competition is always hot…and so are the flag girls.”
Kopita said every race during the popular annual kart racing series is adrenaline-charged, and Montreal’s 2015 pulse-pounder was no exception. A few spectacular crashes never hurt anyone, he said.
Now nearing the end of its sixth season, the YNOT Grand Prix international racing series awards trophies to the top three finishers at each event as determined by the best times in a final “death match.” Every year, component events in the U.S. and Europe provide participants with an opportunity to network amidst fierce, but friendly, competition.
Sponsors of the Montreal leg included JuicyAds, DatingFactory, BaDoinkCash, WellHello, FNCash, Dyn.com and iCAN4Consumers.
The final event of the 2015 season will take place Sept. 22 in Prague as a sanctioned kick-off for The European Summit.
