‘New-wave, Smart Porn’ for Couples
YNOT – A feminist adult filmmaker has launched a new website offering what she calls “new-wave, smart porn” for couples.
BrightDesire.com, based in Brisbane, Australia, features solo masturbation scenes with fantasy voiceovers alongside sex scenes starring real-life couples. The site also includes artistic nude photography and erotic fiction. Most content is heterosexual, but a sprinkling of queer material adds spice.
“I see BrightDesire as being part of a revolution in porn, a move away from the clichés and negativity towards female-friendly, ethical erotica,” said Ms. Naughty, the site’s creator, owner and chief content producer. “I know people are looking for something different and positive, and that’s what they’ll find on BrightDesire. It’s porn that provides both physical and emotional satisfaction.”
Naughty is no stranger to the softer, more emotional side of adult content. She co-developed and co-owns ForTheGirls.com, one of the first websites devoted to women’s enjoyment of the medium. BrightDesire employs the same sort of sensibilities, but Naughty has expanded the oeuvre a bit so the content appeals to men, as well. The queer material, far from run-of-the-mill, also has broad appeal.
“I’m happy to mix things up and not create dividing lines between straight and queer content,” Naughty said. “If it’s sexy, if it’s joyful, I want to show it. Your fantasies don’t define who you are, and neither does your choice of porn.”
For now, BrightDesire offers membership plans, but in the near future Naughty hopes to add video-on-demand for those who prefer to consume their adult content piecemeal.
