New Software Lets Solo Girls Run Their Own Cams
MONTREAL – A free version of streaming webcam software designed especially for solo models who operate their own websites allows performers intimate control their own destinies.
Miricam, by software development company 2Much, permits models to interact with their members in live chat, accept unlimited tips and charge fans any per-minute rate they want for private and semi-private shows.
“Live video-chat is a fantastic way to retain members and subscribers too,” said 2Much spokesman Jay Berkman. “Personal interaction with their favorite internet personalities really keeps people glued to your website. Miricam is a great retention tool.”
With Miricam, models have full access to the gamut of statistics about their chat sessions. They can see who logged in and when and how many sales were earned each day, month or year. Unlike some other chat service providers, Miricam allows models to own all of their data.
“Chat models can opt-in to display advertising banners on their chat room pages to earn additional revenue, join the network to re-broadcast their live chat streams to other sites or display streams from other sites on theirs too,” Berkman said.
Miricam features built-in payment processing, allowing models to accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover cards as well as prepaid debit with instant approval.
“It’s like having your own processing account, but without the hassle,” Berkman said. “Transactions are processed instantly, and details are reflected in the included control panel.”
Models’ video chat is viewable on all browsers, including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Edge and Safari. Miricam can stream to most smartphones and tablets powered by Android or iOS.
Models receive 77.9 percent of all sales and are paid weekly.
