New Service Spies on Competitors’ Advertising
YNOT – A new tool launched in late 2012 reportedly offers media buyers and individual webmasters the ability to scout their competition’s habits in order to fine-tune their own marketing campaigns.
Adult AdSpy allows users to see all of the places where a specific ad is running, the duration of each run and the targeted traffic network. Advanced users may drill down to discover landing pages, offers, countries of interest and other details. In theory, any user can put the information to work immediately by incorporating the knowledge into their own marketing campaigns.
The system also allows users to look up other ads run by the same advertiser or media buyer in order to glean a broader understanding of the overall strategies in use.
The service recently added a database of the top 100,000 adult websites by traffic volume.
“The amount of time, money and effort that can be saved by simply capitalizing on the data the tool provides is mind-blowing,” said Adult AdSpy founder and Chief Executive Officer Jay Schwarz. “Years ago everyone had to go out and try to reinvent fire by themselves because nobody knew how to watch what everyone else was doing. Now, with AdultAdSpy.com, a lot of the work you might try to do yourself is already done by others and available to you simply by utilizing our ad-tracking software.”
Schwarz said the tool tracks ads and related data in more than 23 countries. Data is updated every hour, 24 hours a day.
