LAS VEGAS, NV — When you look as hot as Ashlynn Brooke, it’s hard not to win an award – and the New Sensations contract girl and star of AshlynnBrooke.com wasn’t able to duck the Newcomer Feature of the Year award, presented by Exotic Dancer Publications.“I’m so thrilled to have won this newcomer award,” Brooke said. “I just started dancing, and being so new to it, I just go out there and work hard and have fun. All the clubs have been fantastic and I can’t wait to dance more. It’s a bit surreal to win an award for something that is so fun and can hardly be considered ‘work’… but still honored none the less.”

Brooke is a known personality in adult films though, and has recently filmed scenes for upcoming releases from New Sensations that include 70’s Show – A XXX Parody, due out on September 21st, and Sex Files: A Dark XXX Parody, due out on September 30th. Brooke also is featured on her own website, ashlynnbrooke.com, which is part of the nscash.com affiliate program.

YNOT asked Brooke about her approach to marketing her website and keeping members happy.

“I’m very active and passionate about my site,” Brooke said. “I have to admit that lately I’ve been slacking a little on the promotion side of things. But that’s only because we’ve been working really hard on redesigning the page and adding new pages to it so that it becomes more personal and appealing. After we are all done with that, which will be very soon, I will start updating constantly. And all the members will be in for a ton of very pleasant surprises.

So what’s the main difference between filming content and feature dancing?

“I love to make the audience happy,” Brooke told YNOT. “Both are great. But when I’m dancing I get instant reaction. It’s almost like instant gratification. And I get to meet the fans personally and find out what makes them tick.”

In winning the Newcomer award, Brooke beat out other beautiful industry girls that included the likes of Bree Olsen, Christina Aguchi and Talia De Mar. Winners were announced at the Rock and Jock Awards Show, which was held at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas during the 17th annual Gentleman’s Club Owner’s Expo and Tradeshow.

Asked if it was strange to win a “newcomer” award, given her film credits, Brooke told YNOT.com that she is still growing in the industry and picking up new things all the time.

“Not odd at all,” said Brooke. “I’m learning new things daily, so I feel almost like a newcomer in many ways. I like it that way. I want to learn constantly. If I knew everything there is to know, what would be the point?”

Kristofer Kay, Assistant Editor of Exotic Dancer Publications, had a lot of praise for Brooke.
