New A/B Testing Tool Helps Refine Cam-Site Traffic
SEATTLE – Cambuilder, a division of live-cam platform giant Streamate, has released a new A/B testing tool that helps affiliates to gauge the effectiveness of their marketing campaigns.
“The A/B testing is now live on Cambuilder and we’ve already seen many affiliates using it to increase their revenues,” said Streamate’s Yuval Kijel. “The tool allows affiliates to make two different designs of their white-label cam site and see which design is performing better. We split the traffic, and the test shows real-time results that allow affiliates to pick the winner. Then, affiliates can run other A/B tests, over and over, and get the maximum optimization for their traffic.”
According to Kijel, the tool is very easy to use. A few quick, user-friendly steps enable the first test; users may deepen their analysis with only a few clicks more.
“Right now the A/B testing is focusing on design elements such as different templates, available content, landing pages, colors, thumb size, logo and more,” Kijel said. “However, we are already working on our next version, which will add testing of features so affiliates can test if a certain feature is adding revenue to their white-labels.
“The key element here is to optimize traffic,” he continued. “We know how important is every click our affiliates send to their white-labels, and we want to make sure they make more money from the same volume of traffic.”
