Need for Speed Drives Redesign Effort
MONTREAL – After a bit of remodeling, Next Door Studios has unveiled a new look for its all-access mega-site, Next Door World. The site’s clean layout focuses on content and provides a streamlined user experience, both of which are important to contemporary consumers, a spokesperson said. In addition, optimization of tour pages and the members area has improved the site’s responsiveness.
After all, when consumers want gay porn, they want it now.
“It’s been a few years since we launched NextDoorWorld.com,” said studio President Stephan Sirard. “It was time to give it a refresh. The new design offers simplified navigation with a strong emphasis on five weekly updates and the library of over 2,500 videos from all 13 Next Door sites.”
The overhaul was undertaken by the design and development teams at Buddy Profits, the gay affiliate division of Gamma Entertainment. Buddy Profits Managing Director Hector Camacho said the staff is particularly proud of the speed with which the new version of the site loads. Optimization of the tour and members area included new search features that make it easier for users to find what they seek in the 13-site content vault.
“When planning the new site, we focused on the growing demand from our consumers for premium content and fast online content delivery and site navigation,” Camacho said. “The site’s concept and integration was a collaboration between the Buddy Profits marketing, sales, product development and user-experience teams, and it shows in the final product.
“We know that content is king, and the new site makes [content] the focus,” he added. “From hot jocks to fresh twinks, from solo studs to the hottest ebony men, Next Door World has it all.”
Camacho also indicated the redesign has helped in one area of paramount importance to affiliates: conversions.
“With significantly improved conversion ratios since the re-launch and $35 per sign-up or 50-percent revshare options on all memberships including trials, this is a great opportunity for affiliates to promote NextDoorWorld.com,” he said.
