NakedSword Gets Kinky
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Gay video-on-demand purveyor NakedSword has signed a content deal with BDSM studio Kink.com, allowing NakedSword to stream scenes from Kink’s gay line, Kink Men.
The new material will headline NakedSword’s BDSM channel and kick off the company’s Kinky Summer promotion. Thursday’s debut of a scene in which Trent Diesel is bound, suspended and sexually provoked marks the first appearance of Kink Men content on NakedSword’s digital platform.
“We’ve worked hard in the past year to make sure NakedSword stays unchallenged in the VOD market,” said President Tim Valenti. “Kink’s one-of-a-kind productions are unmatched in their market, and it was really important for us to bring them onto the site.”
Conceived in 2008 by director Van Darkholme, Kink Men has seen significant expansion during its five-year history. In addition to the eponymous portal, the division also operates BoundGods.com, NakedKombat.com, BoundInPublic.com, ButtMachineBoys.com and MenOnEdge.com.
“This is a chance for us to bring Kink Men a new audience,” the studio’s Mike Stabile said. “NakedSword is one of the strongest brands in the gay marketplace. What they’ve done with [NakedSword.com is amazing, and we hope this will be the beginning of a long relationship.”
The partnership coincided with the San Francisco premiere of Kink, a documentary film about the company produced by James Franco and Christina Voros. The film, which features Darkholme and Kink performers including Jessie Colter and John Magnum, is expected to screen Friday during the Frameline Film Festival.
