LOS ANGELES – Chanel Preston has launched a second Indiegogo campaign to continue financing her dream of a world less plagued by body- and sexuality-related shame.

NakedWithChanel.com, the online component of the dream, now includes its first webisode as a result of Preston’s initial fundraising drive. Though some may view an Indiegogo campaign that, in 60 days, raised only $2,400 of its $10,000 goal a failure, Preston calls it a success. After all, the modest funding was enough to build the website’s back-end and film a few episodes of what Preston plans to be a groundbreaking series.

“We are exposed to sex, but we are not exposed to sexual knowledge,” she said. “Just because you watch Grey’s Anatomy doesn’t mean you know your way around an [operating room]. We are constantly being influenced in more ways than you think about sex, and not just the act itself, but also your social attitudes.”

Naked with Chanel’s first episode, “Where Do We Learn About Sex?” follows Preston around Los Angeles as she approaches strangers on the street and asks their opinions about sex education and resources in the U.S. Upcoming episodes are expected to tackle America’s relationship with sex through candid conversation, reflective commentary and street polling.

“It’s not always easy shedding yourself of negative or misguided attitudes towards sex, but I’m hear to help you with that,” states Preston in the episode’s opening. “Are you ready to strip yourself of all that unwanted mental clothing to find out what it really means to expose yourself? Then come with me and get naked.”
