Mystique Magazine’s Content Library Up for Sale
YNOT – Austin, Texas-based Infinity Studios is seeking a buyer for its library of video and still images created for the online zine Mystique Magazine.
Founded in 1998, Mystique features beautiful women filmed in exotic locations worldwide. The softcore adult content was created at a cost exceeding $5 million, a spokesperson said. Assets include 600 hours of video, half of which is in high-definition format. A collection of 150 hour-long shows also is included, as well as more than 1,000 web-formatted video clips and more than 30,000 still images of more than 130 models photographed by glamour shooter Mark Daughn.
“I know another site or company would do well with this level of content,” co-founder Kevin King said. “It’s also a perfect turnkey opportunity for someone looking to enter the adult space with an established brand and a very high quality library.”
The websites Mystique-Magazine.com and HotPicsDirect.com also are available. Both feature custom programming and recurring and pay-per-view billing models.
“They would be a perfect fit for a high-traffic website or strong affiliate marketing company,” King said.
Infinity plans to focus on non-adult-themed travel-related productions in the future, according to King, although it plans to continue in the retail glamour calendar business.
