Museum of Sex Features Pjur for Pride Month
This year, as part of a campaign for Pride month the New York Museum of Sex in Manhattan has once again decided to dedicate an entire window display to pjur lubricant.
If you’re not familiar with the Museum of Sex, its mission is to preserve and present the history, development and cultural importance of human sexuality. The museum’s permanent collection has over 20,000 objects, including artworks, photographs, clothes and costumes, technological inventions, and historical ephemera. The museum is also home to a research library and an extensive multimedia library. With a five-time award-wining retail store, their Carnal Carnival bar with “signature libations,” and exciting exhibitions like Portia Munson’s installation – The Pink Bedroom – which centers on “the many, and often conflicting, expectations we put on the production and consumption of the female body,” the museum is truly a unique place to visit.
Innovative artistic displays such as the pjur window and before that their DTF display which drew heavy traffic and was kept up for an extra month, draw in tourists curious to see what’s inside the museum, opening their hearts and minds to learning more about sex and how society views it.
The current pjur presentation focuses on the company’s new premium personal lubricant – pjur INFINITY. Press for pjur stated that the museum is the perfect place to present the new premium personal lubricant by pjur and the company’s new brand design. The window is a subtle hue of purple, skillfully staging the elegant glass bottle with just the lightest of touches making it a real eye-catcher on 5th Avenue in New York City.
From now to the end of June, the windows at the Museum of Sex will be a riot of colors to reflect the different colors of the rainbow to show support for the LGBTQIA+ community in New York on 5th Avenue.
