Today (Aug. 21) is National Senior Citizen’s Day — who knew?!

Welp, the folks at Mr. Skin apparently because they have taken the opportunity to rank mainstream cinema’s “Hottest Senior Citizens.”

According to the internet, “National Senior Citizens’ Day recognizes the achievements of the more mature representatives of our nation. The day provides an opportunity to show our appreciation for their dedication, accomplishments and services they give throughout their lives.”

If the 2017 US Census is to be believed, 47 million seniors currently live in the US. By 2060, that number will nearly double! (ehhhh… I question these figures, but whatever)

“Seniors’ wealth of knowledge, skill and experience offer so much to the next generation. As technologies advance, these are the people who’ve experienced each step of change. Not only have they contributed to it, but they understand first hand the benefits and the drawbacks. They know life without the advancements that exist today,” the National Day Calendar wrote.

What better way to honor our seniors than by assessing their presumed hotness and, by proxy, bang-ability?!

Top marks for Hottest Lady Senior include: Jane Fonda, Goldie Hawn and Susan Sarandon. Top marks for Hottest Dude Senior include: Jeff Bridges, Donald Sutherland and Michael Douglas. Though you’re never going to convince me that The Dude is a senior citizen, I suppose I accept this list.
