MPA3Sync Seeks Beta Testers
YNOT – MPA3Sync, new software meant to streamline document production, collaboration and security, is available for beta testing.
“This is so much more than document sharing and hosting,” said Oystein Wright, chief executive officer of developer Mansion Productions. “This software will sync all of your machines, laptop or desktop, whether at work, at home or on the go and make it so you’re never without your critical data. It backs up every change in real time, protecting you from missteps, and allows for collaboration amongst a team, making it easy to work together.
“It allows a user to share documents straight from their computer desktop and retrieve a secure link to a file or folder without having to visit any websites,” he continued. “In addition, it allows you to right-click any folder on your computer and invite guest users to either securely upload or download files straight to your computer.
“The potential of our new software is so great that it is difficult for me to fit it in one comment.”
The software keeps all versions and changes of documents and file structures, allowing for smart web development backup. All changes to the hosted and synced material carries notes for each user sharing the data and tracks alterations. Version history capabilities allow users to restore files to any given point in time.
“Every once in a while, software comes along and streamlines business so much that people using it wouldn’t think of going without it ever again,” said Mansion Productions Client Relations Director Ananda Sisk. “This is what I think MPA3Sync will be.
“MPA3Sync is so good I want to demo it for anyone and everyone,” she added. “I’ve seen it in action and all I can say is, if all the employers I’ve been with through my career had been using it, we’d have saved thousands of work hours. It really is the best solution for sharing project data and sending secure and traceable e-mail attachments. It even allows you to change the contents of an email attachment while the email is in transit.”
Mansion Productions has opened MPA3Sync for select beta testers. Pricing isn’t finalized yet, but Wright said the alpha version probably will debut in a small-business package for about $45 per month. The licensing fee is expected to include three user seats, cloud hosting space and machine syncing capabilities.
