Mobilizing Contextual Keyword Targeting
YNOT – Adult mobile advertising network Reporo has introduced contextual targeting. The service allows advertisers to use keywords to match their messages to relevant sites within the Reporo network.
Reporo’s system analyzes the content of sites in its network, determining the central themes of web pages. Then the company employs a sophisticated algorithm to define appropriate keywords, which are presented to advertisers for their selection.
Currently, 42 keywords are available.
“This new feature will boost click-through ratios and increase conversions by matching banners and landing pages with the content users are viewing,” a spokesperson said.
The feature will not reduce overall traffic volume as campaigns will still be “run of the network,” the spokesperson added. However, click-through ratios are likely to increase, as are qualified clicks.
To add keywords to their banners, clients need only log in to their accounts, select a campaign and banner, and then tick the relevant keywords.
