Mobile Device User Experiences Focus of Partnership
LONDON, ENGLAND — PMN and Network for Online Commerce (NOC) have something in common. Actually, they have two things in common: they’re both keenly interested in learning about and understanding the experiences of mobile telephone users – and they’ve joined forces in order to do so.PMN is a mobile market intelligence firm located in a London borough and readying itself for its upcoming Mobile User Experience (MEX) conference, which runs from May 31st through June 1st of this year.
NOC is the premier trade association for companies providing fixed and mobile network services.
The two entities have come together in a partnership designed to help increase understanding within the telecom industry about the issues that mobile phone users deal with. NOC will promote the PMN MEX conference to its membership while working with PMN to publish a market commentary containing information about user reported incidents with premium mobile content services.
PMN will participate in a special knowledge and networking workshop for NOC members on April 6th, 2006 in partnership with 160characters.org and chaired by the company’s editorial director, Marek Pawlowski.
“User experience is becoming a strategic priority throughout mobile industry and the NOC is a valuable partner in raising awareness of these issues through its membership of operators and service providers,” Pawlowski explains.
