MixedX Releases Mafia Murder Mystery Film, ‘Sunday’
Los Angeles, CA — New erotic studio MixedX is taking fans on a cinematic journey back to a time when Italian mobs ruled the streets of New York City in the original feature film Sunday. The film is available for streaming now at MixedX.com.
Directed by Christina Shine, Sunday captures the old-time glamour of a bygone era while fixating on the underbelly of organized crime. Specifically, the film explores outlaw Raul Costa and the mystery of a missing woman in the neighborhood, played by Tina Kay.
“I’m a big fan of both Tina Kay and Raul Costa — They are not only fantastic erotic talents, but also great actors who give intense, amazing onscreen performances,” said Shine, who also serves as the company’s CEO. “You can’t take your eyes off of them!”
Since its launch a year ago, Shine and her MixedX team — part of the AdultTime.com streaming network — has been treating viewers to an “elevated standard of sexual cinema that highlights character-driven storytelling.” It’s touted by press materials as a “euphoric indulgence for the most discerning of audiences.”
The director of photography for MixedX, Zsolt discusses his vision. “I created the atmosphere and, in the aftermath, gave the film a fashionable Kodak Kodachrome look of the early 60s and 70s. I am excited to have this film from Mixedx in the running for the nomination period and 2021 award shows,” Zsolt explained.
