MILF Gigi Dior Sued by Christian Dior
Gigi Dior, the blonde mainstream actress and model turned MILF Adult Performer, is battling a lawsuit from luxury brand powerhouse Christian Dior.
The billion-dollar company sued Gigi over the use of the name “Dior” even though she had it trademarked, claiming it’s damaging business. Since then, the story has been picked up across news outlets including PaperMag, Dazed Digital, IMDb, and The Sun.
Page Six of The New York Post broke the news early this month penning an exclusive interview calling the whole situation a “Tempest in a D cup.”
According to the interview, the 40-year-old performer who has been featured in numerous porn flicks including Horny Hiking, and has over 60,000 followers across her platforms, had applied for the trademark in September of 2020, and it was approved. Barely a year later (October 18) Christian Dior Couture slapped her with a lawsuit claiming her use of the name was hurting the brand causing “confusion,” “dilution by blurring” and “dilution by tarnishment.”
“This is ridiculous, my name has nothing to do with couture and — the funny part is — what I do usually involves wearing no clothes at all,” Gigi told them in response to the lawsuit.
“I trademarked my stage name for entertainment and modeling purposes,” continued Gigi explaining the process she went through, “I had to show proof of what I was using the name for, so I used appearances at exotica, and a website for confirmation … My request was granted.”
Gigi Dior is a single mother with four kids under the age of twelve and has used the US patent and trademarked approved name “Dior” on all her promotional products, websites, photographs, and social media. She stated to Page Six that if Christian Dior were to win, it would be “devastating” as she would have to start from scratch.
