Mile High Media, FameDollars Form Partnership
YNOT – FameDollars, a division of Gamma Entertainment, has joined forces with adult entertainment company Mile High Media to offer surfers a bevy of websites featuring content from Mile High’s award-winning studios.
Studios in the Mile High Media group include Doghouse Digital, Sweetheart Video, Sweet Sinner and Reality Junkies. New sites for each are expected to launch beginning in March 2012.
Based in Canada, Mile High started as a licensee of American adult movies for the Canadian market. By 2003, the company had determined that the best way to provide the quantity and quality of entertainment its consumers wanted was to produce its own material. Doghouse Digital, the first of Mile High’s niched lines, launched that year.
Today, Mile High Media’s more than 1,500 original titles are available on all platforms.
“We commit ourselves to evolve around the market climate, and it’s been reflected in our investment to producing content that consumers want to watch,” Mile High founder Ted Blitt said.
As the market grew and trends changed, Mile High developed additional lines. Sweetheart Video delivers lesbian content. Sweet Sinner is aimed at couples. Reality Junkies produces reality gonzo material, Hardcore Parody offers porn parodies and Sweet Sinema adapts classic Hollywood movies for the adult entertainment market.
Mile High’s diversity played into its decision to partner with Gamma Entertainment’s FameDollars division, Blitt noted.
“We’ve had good relations with the Gamma team for a long time, but the timing wasn’t right for us to get together until now,” he said. “We knew how professional their organization is, and quite frankly, they made us an offer we couldn’t refuse.”
Laughing at the suggestion violin cases and French Canadian porn mafia connections were involved, Gamma Director of Product and Development Magalie Rheault said the two companies simply found themselves with complementary needs and expertise at the same time.
“We are honored to be chosen by Mile High Media to partner with in managing their official online site and marketing their brands directly to consumers,” said Magalie Rheault, Gamma’s director of product and development. “The quality of content they produce is in congruence with our own mission and vision, which is to provide surfers with the best content in every niche possible.”
