VENICE, CA – It is arguable that no one in history has had a run equal to Mick Blue’s recent years and he shows no signs of slowing down.

There have been awards almost too many to count let alone fit into one room. He has received accolades not only for his performances (including several Male Performer of the Year trophies), but also for his directing. And let us not forget that he is one half the #1 Porn Couple in the Universe along with Anikka Albrite.

This year, naturally, has been no different. He performed his ass off. He directed his ass off. He got the nominations to show for it, though it could be argued he could have received more, but there is only so much to give in such a small industry. Even someone of his caliber must be satisfied to receive a few dozen awards and call it a year. It could be worse.

It was years of work to get to where he is. Last year he, Anikka and Maestro Claudio started BAM Studios, with distribution through Evil Angel. Mick continues to shoot for 3rd Degree/Zero Tolerance and his directorial efforts through all have been greatly recognized.

He received awards nominations for his acting, performing and directing. XBIZ gave him two Best Actor nods, along with a long list of nominations for everything else he did. AVN gave him noms for about everything, including six just for Best Anal Sex Scene and seven for Best Double Penetration Sex Scene! Which to root for?

“It was definitely another great year both me and Anikka and for BAM Visions,” he said. “We are all very thankful for the things like great reviews and nominations, but honestly we put everything we have into this work and we are happy when they are received so well. It is what we do, what we believe in, and what we have dedicated our lives to. Thanks to everyone who continues to believe in us!”

Not least importantly, but almost last among the year’s accomplishments, was the unveiling of the BAMvisions.com website, many months in the making.

AVN has announced their voting categories nominees for the 2017 AVN Awards and Mick is up for every category possible for a gentleman performer: Vote Mick for Favorite Male Porn Star at https://avn.com/awards/voting/favorite-male-porn-star.

Mick has almost 50 nominations between the 2017 AVN Awards and XBIZ Awards and several of them are for directing. Mick Loves Anikka (BAM VIsions), which was directed by Mick and Anikka, received several noms for both shows and three of his movies for Third Degree/Zero Tolerance received major noms: Maid in Asia for Best Ethnic Movie; Babysitters POV for Best Gonzo Movie; and Teens in Yoga Pants for Best Ingénue Movie.
