Michigan Democrats Referred to Phone Sex Line
LANSING, MI — Remarkably fecund GOP vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin has injected an element of MILFy sexuality previously unknown to the electoral process. While Michigan’s Democrats do not have a flesh and blood equivalent to the Palin Phenomenon, for at least a short while, they did have a phone sex connection.According to the Associated Press, a recently mailed Michigan Democratic State Central Committee circular, which included a photo of Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama, also included a phone number for interested voters to call to learn more about the state’s absentee ballot system.
Alas for callers, the accompanying phone number, while likely to inspire a passionate response, was less likely to inspire a politically correct one.
Instead of connecting voteres to an information line, the number connected them to a phone sex line.
State party representative Liz Kerr apologized for the misprint, which accompanied two absentee ballot applications and photos of Democratic U.S. Sen. Carl Levin and Diane Hathaway. The former seeks re-election and the latter has been nominated by the party for a seat on the state Supreme Court.
Michiganders hoping to vote via absentee ballot can call 1-888-MI-CHANGE for information about how to do so. Late night television and both regional and national adult publications can provide information about where Michiganders can call for phone sex.
