Media Registration Now Open for YNOT Cam Awards in Hollywood
HOLLYWOOD – YNOT Events announced today that media registration is now open for the YNOT Cam Awards, which will be held at the historic Avalon Hollywood on October 24. The eligibility requirements and the press pass registration form can both be found on the YNOT Cam Awards website.
Approved media outlets will have access to all phases of the awards show, including the red carpet event on Vine Street, the pre-show entertainment headlined by comedian Kelsey Cook, the awards show and its after-party.
“Historically a lot of the media focus we’ve seen on the adult entertainment industry has centered around video stars like Stormy Daniels,” said YNOT CEO Connor Young. “But when it comes to adult entertainment, video is only part of the story. Our event focuses on the stars from the adult interactive sector of the business, which is where most fans are spending their money these days. There are exciting new things happening with interactive, developments that have both an economic and social impact that’s really very positive in a variety of ways.”
The YNOT Awards features 19 categories, across which 95 performers have been nominated. The show’s live audience will be comprised of the nominees and their guests, the show’s sponsors, executives from a wide variety of cam networks and executives from related industries, like the adult novelty sector and technical service providers.
With the growing prominence of interactive entertainment within the broader adult entertainment industry, cam networks have become part of the leading edge of positive change and evolution within the adult industry. Performers of diverse backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, body types and ages are finding success as live cam performers and custom clips artists.
While the business implications of the live camming phenomenon are noteworthy, Young said the social implications of the adult interactive sector are even more significant, as they represent how the internet and related technologies continue to change human culture in new and profound ways.
“YNOT is in a unique position with this event to broadly spotlight the entire adult interactive sector, and we’re proud to have wide backing, trust and support for this event from top performers, webcam networks, clip stores and other industry professionals,” Young said. “This will be the premiere event for the adult interactive community, the biggest of its kind.”
Top-level sponsors of the YNOT Cam Awards include ImLive, Chaturbate, Studio20 and Flirt4Free, with additional sponsorship coming from iWantEmpire, FreeWebcams and Terpon. Non-sponsoring companies represented by nominees include Cam4, Streamate, MyFreeCams, ManyVids, Naked, Clips4Sale, Jasmin, CamGirlDollHouse, JAHLONLINE, CamSoda, AJ Estudios, StripChat, and MyDirtyHobby.
