ManyVids Launches MV Tube, “First Ethical Porn Tube Site”
MONTREAL – Saying that the “proliferation of pirated content on the internet has diminished for most media content” other than adult entertainment, ManyVids CEO Bella French announced today the launch of what she terms the “first ethical porn tube site.”
In a statement announcing the launch of MV Tube, ManyVids said French “wants adult performers to benefit from the same safeguards allotted to mainstream artists and musicians when it comes to having their work stolen and made available online without their knowledge, consent or financial compensation.”
French’s solution is a tube site entirely comprised of “content uploaded by the content creators themselves.”
“Fans now have a platform in which to watch porn conscientiously, knowing their favorite porn stars, camgirls, and camboys are not being exploited for their viewing pleasure,” ManyVids said in its statement, noting that as a former camgirl, French “knows firsthand the challenges adult performers face in the industry” and “invites viewers to enjoy the first-ever ethical adult tube site MV Tube and #JoinTheRebellion movement via social media platforms like Twitter.”
French said the launch of MV Tube “marks a sea change in the adult entertainment industry.”
“It presents a true alternative to the plethora of free adult tube sites that have been accused of destroying the adult industry and exploiting adult performers by uploading pirated content,” French said. “This ends today.
“The onslaught of internet piracy due to free streaming video sites has resulted in decreased sales and lower revenue for the content creators,” French added. “ManyVids, and now MV Tube is the ideal home for adult entertainers to monetize their adult content and non-adult content just like they do on YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms, but without the fear of their accounts being reported or blocked.”
According to ManyVids, all content uploaded to MV Tube is uploaded by “age-verified creators,” produced ethically with no exploitation, respects all copyrights and other intellectual property rights, “celebrates inclusivity and diversity” and supports performers’ efforts to be compensated for their work.
ManyVids also touted MV Tube as offering adult performers the opportunity to “upload non-nude videos and monetize this content as well without the fear of having their accounts flagged or deleted.”
To promote MV Tube, ManyVids has created a video titled “MV Tube: #JoinTheRebellion,” which can be viewed on YouTube here.
