ManyVids’ Bella French, Nalpac’s Steve Craig Join FSC Board of Directors
Los Angeles, CA — The Free Speech Coalition (FSC) is pleased to welcome ManyVids CEO Bella French and Nalpac CEO Steve Craig to the FSC Board of Directors. Both French and Craig filled vacant seats on the board and will serve out remainder terms until the 2020 election next year.
“The Board is thrilled to be able to bring entrepreneurs like Bella and Steve onto the board,” said Jeffrey Douglas, Board Chair of the Free Speech Coalition. “As we grow as an organization, it’s important that we have access to the innovators on the frontlines of our rapidly changing industry.”
French, a serial entrepreneur and former cam model, co-founded ManyVids in 2014. As CEO, she has been a tireless advocate for the rights of both sex workers and women more broadly.
“I look forward to collaborating and working with other members of the Board, contributing on all matters pertaining to elevating and empowering the adult community and raising awareness and advocacy with the public,” French said.
“I’m honored to join this admirable group of professionals who have been leading the way in shaping and advancing this rapidly evolving power shift as adult content creators are taking their rightful command of the adult industry,” she added.
Steve Craig, co-founder of the private equity firm Craig Capital, purchased legendary pleasure products distributor Nalpac in 2017 and has since spent two years as the company’s hands-on CEO. Craig hopes to work with Free Speech Coalition to confront issues critical to the success of the pleasure products industry.
“As an industry, we face discriminatory practices in some of the most routine business activities, such as lending and insurance,” Craig said. “I am eager to bring my experience outside the industry to bear on the disproportionate financial and regulatory restrictions placed on our businesses, and to help expand FSC’s overall pleasure products focus.”
French and Craig join Board Chair Jeffrey Douglas, Board President Kelly Holland (Chick Media), Cathy Beardsley (Segpay), Alison Boden (Kink.com), Tony Rios (AVN), Bob Christian (Adam and Eve), Mark Schechter (ATMLA), Ann Houlihan (CNV.com) Scott Watkins (Doc Johnson), Alec Helmy (XBIZ), Joel Kaminsky (Good Vibrations), Matt Mason (Treasure Island Media) and First Amendment Attorney Reed Lee on the Free Speech Coalition Board.
Elections for the 2019-2020 Board of Directors will take place in December 2019, when six board seats will be up for election.
