Manila Cops Save Residents from Scourge of Sex Toys
MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Imelda Marcos, one-time “Steel Butterfly” and widow of former dictator Ferdinand Marcos may have owned hundreds of pairs of shoes, but if recent raids by the Manila police department are any indication, she didn’t own any sex toys.More than $2,000 worth of sex toys have been seized in a wave of 3:00pm police raids upon stalls in Manila’s Quiapo and Sta. Cruz districts.
According to Superintendent Romulo Sapitula, commander of Manila Police District Station 3, the inspiration for the raids was a demand from mayor Alfredo Lim for improved diligence against illegal sex toys available throughout the city.
“My men will continue to monitor the area and we will conduct relentless operations to prevent the proliferation of the sex toys,” Sapitula assured concerned citizens.
Already safely removed from public contact are inflatable dolls, dildos and cock rings. No arrests have been announced in connection with the purges.
