Lucas Names Killian Creative Director
NEW YORK – Performer, producer and director Adam Killian, a fixture in the gay adult landscape since his debut 10 years ago, has been named creative director for Lucas Entertainment.
Killian will assume the new role Oct. 1, adding a new dimension to a career during which he has performed, directed, lensed and designed lighting for studios including Falcon, Raging Stallion, NakedSword, Eurocreme, All Worlds, Titan Media, Channel 1 Releasing, Rascal Video and COLT.
“Three years ago, I flew to New York City to perform in my first Lucas scene, shot on a rooftop terrace in Chelsea and surrounded by views of the New York City skyline,” Killian, a 38-year-old native Californian, said. “My affection for this city and this company blossomed. I am very excited now to focus my attention exclusively on the Lucas brand as creative director.
“The adult movie industry has changed dramatically over the past 10 years, and I look forward to helping it continue to evolve,” he added.
Among Killian’s duties will be scouting new talent. His background and connections make him uniquely suited for the task. He also will continue performing as a Lucas exclusive.
“Adam is respected and loved within the company and the industry,” said Lucas Entertainment Chief Executive Officer Michael Lucas, who began producing gay adult movies in 1998. “His extensive experience, both in front of the camera and behind it, give him unique insights into production and a superb eye for detail. We are proud that he has chosen to share his talent and dedication with us.”
