Interactive ‘sex tech’ developer Lovense has announced the launch of the company’s new “Webcam 2,” a device “designed specifically for streamers and models seeking an enhanced streaming experience,” the company said.

In the announcement, Lovense said the Webcam 2 offers “impressive upgrades in image quality, control, and usability” compared to its predecessor.

“With 4K resolution, the Webcam 2 provides crystal-clear, high-definition video that ensures streamers always look their best,” the company said. “Its large 1/2″ sensor captures more detail, and the HDR mode automatically adjusts lighting, providing a flattering glow even in low-light environments. “What’s more important, models can access a built-in control panel within OBS when plugging in the Lovense Webcam 2, eliminating the need for third-party software or additional tools to control the webcam,” Lovense added.

The Webcam 2 is also equipped with noise-canceling technology and three customizable audio modes – “voice focus,” “voice suppression” and “music balance” – designed to enhance quality by filtering out background noise. Lovense said this “ensures clear and professional audio for any streaming scenario.”

The camera also offers multiple control options, including a mobile control function, hand gesture control for “touch-free zooming,” and AI auto-framing that “automatically adjusts to keep models centered in the frame, whether they’re alone or in a group.” The company noted that the Webcam 2 also comes with “a physical privacy shutter for peace of mind.”
