Lovehoney Announces Virtual Training Sessions
Though perhaps novel six months ago, today — mid-2020 in the midst of a pandemic — online events have morphed into a business viability necessity. From trade shows to awards programming to trainings, logging into an online classroom or gathering is now par for the course.
With our current wider social state in mind, Lovehoney is now offering virtual training sessions via Facebook Live and Zoom. These training are designed to help keep retailers up-to-date with new products and features and also include brand trainings and refresher courses.
Via press material, Lovehoney sales manager Sabrina Earnshaw explained that, in the time of COVID, “Providing online support to our customers and retailers is a big priority for us.”
Sessions are tailored to individual retailer/outlet needs and timezones. Lovehoney will provide resources including sales sheets and samples prior to the training so retailers can handle products in real time, giving a better understanding of their benefits.
The first virtual training session took place on June 10th via SPAM (Sex Professionals and Manufacturers), which is a Facebook group created by Deja Vu’s Megan Swartz (Las Vegas, NV). The training session covered Lovehoney’s Happy Rabbit and Fifty Shades Of Grey collections and is available for playback upon request.
“Our first Facebook Live was so much fun, and we are excited to carry out more training in this way due to the platform’s ability to speak to people in an intimate and engaging way,” Earnshaw added.
Lovehoney representatives will schedule training sessions with retailers upon request. Contact trade@lovehoney.co.uk
