Live Unicorns Welcomes Two “Industry Legends” to its Team
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – Live adult entertainment platform Live Unicorns has announced two new additions to the company’s team that demonstrate it “continues to grow from within by adding heavy hitter industry names” to the company’s roster.
Noting that their platform “has been experiencing rapid growth” in terms of adding performers and garnering awards, Live Unicorns said their hope is “these industry pros can take them to new heights with the priceless experience they’re bringing to the table.”
One new team member is Mitch Fontaine, LiveUnicorn’s new Head of Production. In their announcement, the company described Fontaine as “an internet porn pioneer” nothing that he founded Burning Angel Entertainment with adult superstar performer Joanna Angel, back in in 2002.
“Together, he and Angel pioneered the alt-porn genre, creating one of the first adult subscription websites on the internet for tattooed and alternative adult talent,” Live Unicorns said in their announcement. “What started as an amateur college experiment spawned into a massive adult studio, collecting over 150+ industry awards, including best alternative website.”
In 2019 Fontaine was inducted into the AVN hall of fame, Internet Founders Branch. Most recently, he has been working with a consulting team of top industry executives, Huge Ape and Huge Ape Media, providing advisory services to a worldwide client base. Fontaine will be joining Live Unicorns with the aim of enhancing the company’s production development and content strategy.
Ovidiu Necula (known as “Robin”) recently joined Live Unicorns as Senior Business Development Manager. Robin has been in the adult industry for over 13 years, during which he has held positions such as Business Development Manager, Affiliate & Marketing Manager, Model/Studio Manager, and Social Media Manager. He comes to Live Unicorns after completing five years as Business Development Manager at Firecams.
“Prior to his time at Firecams, Robin held the Business Development position for Xmodels, Europe’s largest provider of live video sex chat services,” Live Unicorns added. “He’s also had a slew of roles at LiveJasmin, including affiliate program manager. Additionally, he’s spent some time on the video content production side, working for one of Europe’s biggest production companies, DDF Network.
In his new role at Live Unicorns, Robin’s main goal is to “break new ground in the adult business by creating better environments for models and studios,” the company said.
