Lela Chavis Joins Pink Visual
VAN NUYS, Calif. – Former recording industry professional Lela Chavis has joined Pink Visual as the company’s marketing and public relations specialist.
“Having previously marketed a variety of independent musicians and record labels through her website The Vinyl Scout, Lela now brings that same fierce energy to Pink Visual,” Vice President Kristin Wynters said.
Though new to the adult entertainment industry, Chavis said she had no trouble “switching gears and hitting the ground running.”
“I’m excited to be here, and I think this is a great fit for both myself and the Pink Visual / TopBucks family,” Chavis said. “We have a variety of projects happening right now which I’m thrilled to be a part of. In particular, our release of the PV Glasses next month is what I’m most eager to share with everyone.”
Chavis holds a degree in sociology from Arizona State University. Her educational background and previous work experience give her an uncommon perspective on consumer attitudes, Wynters opined.
Mainstream entertainment industry contacts, many of whom Chavis met while indulging her off-the-clock passion for music festivals, don’t hurt either, Wynters added. At one recent music festival, the thoroughly fearless marketing dynamo cozied up to comedian Blake Anderson (pictured with Chavis, right), co-creator and co-star of the Comedy Central series Workaholics.
“Lela brings new ideas and a positive excitement to the marketing team at Pink Visual,” Wynters said. “Her energy has been contagious, and she’s already become an active contributor [by] launching promos for JuicyPinkBox and DMCA Force. We’ve seen great results and an increased penetration with our social marketing efforts.”
