Lauren Phillips, Riley Reyes & APAC to Host Anti-Cyberbullying Event
Venice, CA – Lauren Phillips’ campaign against cyberbullying continues as she teams up with Riley Reyes and the APAC team for a party to help unify the industry against cyberbullying.
Save the date: The event will be held on April 19 at the Couture Night Club — 1640 N. Cahuenga Blvd. — in Los Angeles, CA.
All proceeds from the #SpreadTheLove party will be donated to EndCyberbullying.org — a non-profit organization seeking to raise awareness, provide information and offer compassionate, approachable services in an effort to end cyberbullying — and the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee (APAC) for future initiatives intended to support adult industry professionals.
According to Phillips, the organizers have a set four goals for the event: To gather the adult community together; to stop the blame and help make a difference in our community and others; to bring awareness of cyberbullying to public figures; and to spread love and support for each other.
“This is a very important topic, and I want to do whatever I can to keep people talking about it and try to help force change,” Phillips said.
“After what has happened with our industry in the past few months, it’s important to keep the conversation alive and not let this fall along the wayside. We all deserve to be treated with respect and shouldn’t need to fear checking our Twitter feed in the morning because people are attacking us. It’s crazy,” she added
Companies interested in sponsor packages and/or VIP tables can email Phillips at lauren@laurenphillips.com for more information. The event’s official hashtag is #SpreadTheLove.
