Ladies and Gentlemen, Start Your Engines
YNOT – The green flag will start YNOT Grand Prix’s fourth season Jan. 13 in Las Vegas, in conjunction with AVN’s Adult Entertainment Expo and Internext.
For the first time, the adult industry’s championship kart-racing series will include five pit stops: Las Vegas, Barcelona, Phoenix, Quebec and Prague. Quebec was added to the circuit by popular request. Each track offers its own challenges to racers vying for top honors in both team and individual categories. Bribery, team espionage and other devious attempts to gain an advantage over the competition precede every race, but the camaraderie trackside never wanes.
“The Formula 1 circuit has nothing on the YNOT Grand Prix,” joked race organizer LAJ, who also serves as vice president of parent company YNOT Group LLC. “The fierce spirit of the drivers, the dirty laundry, the career-ending secrets…. You won’t find this kind of cutthroat competition anywhere else in the sporting world. Frankly, the rivalries are a bit frightening. And, of course, YNOT Grand Prix races have their share of breathtaking crashes, though no flames or life-threatening injuries … yet. Just ask last year’s drivers. The number of them who saw their lives pass before their very eyes at the decisive moment is staggering.”
The inaugural race of the 2013 season, presented by JuicyAds, will take place from 8:30 p.m. to midnight at the FastLap indoor racing facility moments away from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Complimentary transportation to and from the event will be provided for all drivers and spectators, as will trackside food and beverages.
As a special bonus, JuicyAds and Affil4You will host an exclusive, invitation-only after-party in the Bowling Suite at the Hard Rock, the headquarters for the AVN shows. Everyone who participates in the JuicyAds YNOT Grand Prix as either a driver or a spectator will receive a VIP invitation.
“Our VIP guests will enjoy an intimate evening of late-night snacks, a full bar, music and bowling,” said JuicyAds founder Juicy Jay.
The 2013 YNOT Grand Prix season includes:
Las Vegas: On Jan. 13 racers will fly around two 20’ x 1,200’ tracks designed by former International Kart Federation racers who currently rank among the fiercely competitive Rotax Max Masters. The race is one of the kick-off events for the annual Internext trade show.
Barcelona: Scheduled to take place March 1, the Barcelona event, presented by 2000Charge, will occur in conjunction with The European Summit – Barcelona. Racers will have to think faster than they can drive in order to survive the high-tech track at Scratch Indoor Karting.
Phoenix: The annual Phoenix Forum leg, to be presented by JuicyAds on April 3, offers two quarter-mile-long tracks rife with challenges including multiple switchbacks. Even the straight-aways here dare drivers to surmount them.
Quebec: JuicyAds presents the first-ever Canadian race in early August, in conjunction with Qwebec Expo. Details have not been finalized, but Canadians already are vowing to dominate the event on their home turf.
Prague: Although the date has yet to be determined, the 2000Charge-presented challenge during The European Summit – Prague promises to be every bit the fierce test of stamina and determination the 2012 event turned out to be. The track is almost 1km long and 6m wide, reaching 9m in the curves. The facility, one of the most impressive in Europe, is equipped with an electronic timing system and wide screens that broadcast the race live.
