Label X Joins Pineapple Support as Sponsor
Label X Group has joined Pineapple Support as a support-level sponsor, the adult industry mental health nonprofit announced Wednesday. Label X Group is a firm that offers a variety of services to individual creators, including social media marketing, content post-production and assistance in assuring that content comports with the terms of service for various platforms.
“Since founding the social media management arm of LX Group I have had the pleasure of interacting with and supporting numerous independent performers in the adult industry,” said Annie Clancy, co-founder of Label X Group. “Immediately, I started hearing the struggles they have in accessing mental health services. When I learned about Pineapple Support, I knew they were an organization we not only were going to tell all our clients about, but also support in any way we can.”
Jay Metcalf, Clancy’s co-founder in Label X Group, called Pineapple Support “a fantastic organization that we are proud to support.”
“Like Pineapple, we are committed to helping both individual content creators and companies who support and employ them,” Metcalf added. “From that mission, we have grown three lines of business with LX Recruit at the forefront of bringing world-class recruiting help to carefully vetted clients in the adult industry. We support core services recruiting for manufacturing, streaming, and studio clients who have shown they can treat their employees professionally at all levels.”
Founded by British performer Leya Tanit in 2018 after a string of losses in the adult industry from depression and other mental illnesses, Pineapple Support is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization in the United States. The organization reports that it has connected over 5,000 adult performers to mental health services, including free and low-cost therapy, counseling, and emotional support.
“By becoming a sponsor of Pineapple Support, Label X team is bringing mental health services to performers in need,” Tanit said. “At a time when our industry is expanding and decentralizing, it’s more important to have partners who can support them in both business and wellness. I’m so pleased to have Label X come aboard and look forward to working with them on future initiatives.”
