Komar Learning Center Reveals Summer Schedule
BALTIMORE – Komar, a wholesale distributor of adult products, has revealed its course schedule for the summer months. The classes are designed to educate retail store owners, buyers, trainers and workers, as well as sex educators and bloggers.
The courses are:
May 10: Understanding Pet Play for Kink Enthusiasts
May 24: Beauty & Body Image
June 7: So Much Lube!
June 21: Sex for Breast Cancer Survivors
July 19: Sex, Ability & Disability: Inclusive Web Design
Classes are taught by sex educator Ducky DooLittle, with occasional guest lectures from toy designers, manufacturers and others within the pleasure products industry. Classes begin at 1 p.m. EST and last 40 minutes. Reservations are required, as space is limited.
DooLittle said the May 10 session will focus on a product line with which the company is seeing extraordinary success: Oxballs. Komar added the line of BDSM playthings to its catalog in 2015 and has expanded its product offering several times since in order to meet consumer demand.
“Oxballs creates some of the most unique products in today’s market,” DooLittle said. “We are especially fond of this line because each item is designed by a team that obviously loves what they do. The first-hand beta testing of the rings, penis sheaths, plugs and chastity devices means the end user, our customers customer, is sure to find pleasure with an Oxballs purchase.”
The May 10 class will not be the first to feature Oxballs merchandise. In the fall of 2015, Komar Learning Center offered a comprehensive class about male pleasure anatomy and cock rings. DooLittle said she expects the pet-play class to be at least as popular.
“Do a quick search of the internet, and you’ll find ‘pet play’ to be a rather common practice for kink enthusiasts,” she said. “It’s smart to stock up on items that inspire fantasies. In this class, we will explore this niche fetish, the toys that appeal to this market, and give retailers skills to help customers in warm and nonjudgmental ways.”
