Kira Noir has made some statements to AVN after her win as Female Performer Of The Year at the 40th Annual AVN Awards held Saturday night 29th April (local time) at the Resorts World Las Vegas Theater. Kira Noir, in commenting on her victory, first of all explained the meaning of her look: “My dress was a somewhat «slutty» wedding dress that I made with a friend of mine. The sense was that I wanted to officially marry my job, marry porn”.

Kira is the first black porn performer to win the award: “I didn’t even imagine I could win. For me, the meaning of the evening was my marriage to porn. It still doesn’t seem real to me. I’m still waiting to wake up. I can’t believe this is actually happening.“

Kira Noir grew up with her mother and sister in Nashville. After graduating from high school, she began working in strip clubs at Larry Flint’s Hustler Club in St. Louis before entering the porn business. She shot her first scene for Reality Kings and in 2018 she participated in the third edition of Brazzers House. She has two red rings tattooed on her ring fingers.

Throughout her career, she has co-presented the 37th AVN Awards with Skyler Lo. In 2021 she won the AVN Award for Best Supporting Actress, and she confirmed her success in the following years. In 2023 she made history by becoming the first black performer to win Female Performer of the Year at the AVN Awards.

After almost ten years of career and dozens of nominations, Noir has finally come to crown her career with this prestigious award at the 2023 AVN Awards: “I’m really proud of the work I’ve done with my friends. The people I’ve met in porn are some of the best human beings on the planet. That’s why they’ve been on the scene for so long: I love them.”

At the moment kira Noir poses and acts for several production companies that make the best paid porn sites, proving that the award did not come by chance.
