Just a Hardworking Canadian Boy
By Peter Berton
LOS ANGELES – Jessy Jones is a well-endowed, levelheaded and hardworking man of many porn talents who hails from the Great White North.
His Twitter account bills him as a “Straight xXx Adult Performer, Director, Photographer, UCLA Film School … Canada made, L.A. paid.”
YNOT.com: From where in Canada do you hail?
Jessy Jones: My home town is Edmundston, New Brunswick. It’s a logging town with 17, 000 population.
I grew up on a farm about 30 minutes away, but as a teen moved there for high school. I love that place and my friends forever, man, wherever I end up.
I’m fluent in French and love to ride motocross, snowboard and skateboard.
I did everything I had to do to get my citizenship and move to Los Angeles and join the game.
I have a major in film and minor in Business. “Pretty chill guy,” I like to think. Real blunt as well. Must be the French.
What got you into porn?
I picked up a porn DVD when I was 14. It starred Seymour and Taylor Hayes. I knew then and there that’s what I wanted to do. Who wouldn’t?
What was your first shoot like?
My first shoot was really unexpected and weird. It was with a goddess named Amy Reid, and she made me feel good. You know what I mean. She’s a really nice person, and she brought me to an agency.
What do you like the most, and the least, about performing in porn?
I like making money and having sex with gorgeous woman every day. I hate smelly pussy, and crews that have no idea what to do on set.
As a male, how do you ensure you’re ready for work every time the camera rolls?
To get ready for the set, I eliminate stress with a blunt and drink lots of coconut water. I also do my research on the talent and be nice to everyone.
What was the funniest shoot you’ve done to date?
My funniest shoot would be a Brazzers scene with my boy Huggy in Vegas. We were making fun of a guy who ran off set crying and left his belongings behind and never came back. Tool!
What has porn taught you about life?
I learned to keep my mouth shut unless I can back it up, and you’re only as good as your last scene.
What are your future plans?
I’m going to own and direct real soon, my friend, and hopefully change the industry for the better and bring the New School directors in. We’ll see.
One day at a time. I’m totally comfortable letting the company take advantage of me for now.
