Like many others, Ms. Julia Epiphany had one of the most uncompromising years she’s ever experienced in 2020, facing not only the threat of catching COVID-19, but also she lived through an eviction in the dead of winter in subzero Canadian temps with nowhere to go and no fallback. A true testament of her resilience, fortitude, and vision, not only did she survive, the indomitable, transgender lesbian managed to grow her brand!

2020 took off with a bang for the new performer! Excited by her late 2019 nominations for her first Transgender Erotica Award as a “Best Non-US Performer” nominee and AVN Awards Fan Favorite “Favorite Trans Cam Star” and “Favorite Trans Porn Star”, the statuesque transgender quickly picked up a nomination for a Live Cam Award for “Best Trans Live Cam Model”. She was on a fast track to success when the pandemic sidelined her inchoate career.

As the world descended into chaos, and with almost no income and no permanent place to stay, with her finances devastated, Julia reformulated her career strategy, reimagining her immediate future with only the tools she could carry. She persevered and still managed to do cam shows, attended the virtual Transgender Erotica Awards, and slowly began to rebuild.

Julia was showcased in the TEA official program book, the first publication with her name and image on the printed page, and within a few months would be featured for the first time on a DVD. Another bright achievement in her career was her nomination for an XBIZ Cam Award, which had been delayed again due to the pandemic.

Julia spent the summer piecing her life back together, day by day, reinforcing the fractures so they were stronger than before her eviction. Eventually launching an online store, and finally in December partnering with Rising Star PR and adding NiteFlirt to her lineup of services, Julia Epiphany relaunched her career.

The talented triple threat spoke on the Gender Identity and Expression in the Adult Entertainment Business at the YNOT Summit virtual seminar panels, held online December 1-3, 2020 at YNOTsummit.com in the panel discussion together with Casey Kisses, Buck Angel, Bambi Bliss, Kelly Pierce, and Alex Lecomte.
