SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. – What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day — traditionally, a day of love — than by launching new website devoted to sex from a woman’s point of view?

AVN Hall of Fame performer Julia Ann will launch her ambitious new project, WomenByJuliaAnn.com, on Sunday. Offering all-new, exclusive content, the site is directed squarely at the growing market of female adult-content consumers. Performers include Abigail Mac, Mercedes Carerra, Missy Martinez, Aaliyah Love and Tanya Tate, all of whom are smart, savvy women.

But the site isn’t solely about satisfying women’s craving for sexually explicit material. Ann’s new playground also offers health and welfare information, plus fitness and cooking instruction.

Ann said creating the new online hangout became “a passion” after she noticed a significant number of women joining and chatting on her official website, JuliaAnnLive.com.

“It is a thrill to see WomenByJuliaAnn.com come to life after so much hard work,” she said. “I have a lot of female members at my official site. We chat and hang out together a great deal. There are not many sites women can join where they can feel 100-percent safe and comfortable.

“I have met so many female fans over the years at conventions and fan events who are scared or nervous about joining ‘traditional’ adult sites,” she continued. “I am determined to provide a place fans can celebrate the sensuality of women and come together as a community.”

WomenByJuliaAnn.com also includes interactive content. Ann will be live via webcam weekly for special chats. Her first live show for the new site is scheduled to take place Feb. 22.

“I’m excited to see the new site grow in the coming months,” she added. “It’s going to be a true journey of exploration not only for the members, but also for me.”
