John Stagliano Asks Industry “Are We Evil or Divine” During Cybernet Expo
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — It’s not officially summer yet, but higher temperatures have arrived for much of America. Things are definitely heating up for the June 10th – 12th Cybernet Expo to be held at the Golden Gateway Hotel in San Francisco, CA, now that Evil Angel founder John Stagliano has agreed to speak not once but twice during the Expo.Drawing inspiration from Ronnie James Dio, the multiple-award winning adult visionary who invented the gonzo genre will address the topic “Are We Evil or Divine” in an informative and inspirational speech about free expression, sexuality, the internet, and his current obscenity-related legal battles.
According to Stagliano, who will speak to attendees during the June 12th Free Speech Coalition luncheon, as well as during a 30-minute closing presentation from 5:00 pm – 5:30 pm later that day, “I am working on something that will talk about the incredible cultural advance the internet has made in human sexuality.”
This past April, Stagliano was charged with multiple counts of federal obscenity-related violations. Now facing the possibility of more than 30 years in prison, as well as massive professional and personal forfeiture, in addition to millions of dollars in fines, the mastermind behind such legendary industry productions as the highly acclaimed Fashionistas series, takes his ordeal very seriously.
The politically active and savvy Stagliano considers members of the adult entertainment industry to be “Cadets in the Service of Decadence,” and believes that “porn is the sexual expression of the masses, something which has been the preserve of kings, politicians, and sultans with harems.”
In addition to providing up-to-date information about his battle against the ultra conservative forces at the Obscenity Prosecution Task Force, Stagliano promises to focus on “the battle against those who would leave us bound in a closet.”
Cybernet Expo attendees will also enjoy exclusive seminars, parties, and networking opportunities, including two nights of XXX Iron Man competitions, D Money’s Rock the Ball, Show and Sell, and the closing night live shoot exclusive, Kink in the Kastle.
