Joanne Cachapero Joins FSC as New Membership Director
CANOGA PARK, CA — Joanne Cachapero, an adult industry writer since 2005 and most recently news manager for XBIZ has accepted the position of membership director for the Free Speech Coalition, according to a press release issued yesterday. With editorial experience ranging from mainstream publications including The Coast News to adult magazines including Playgirl Cachapero’s background is diverse and articulate.
“Going forward,” Cachapero assures, “I’m thrilled to be a part of the efforts that the FSC makes toward being a resource for the industry and hope that I can help Diane (Duke) and the staff to take the organization to the next level.”
After previous membership director Scott L. Lowther announced that he would be leaving the position in August, after three years service, the FSC embarked upon an intensive search for a replacement.
“Joanne is a perfect addition to our team,” observes Diane Duke, FSC executive director. “She knows the industry, is tremendously talented, and is committed to the values and principles of the Free Speech Coalition.”
