Jenna Jameson Featured In Adidas Adicolor Podcast Ad
CYBERSPACE – Adult megastar Jenna Jameson has added yet another mainstream media appearance to her resume, appearing in a new podcast advertisement for Adidas’ customizable “adicolor” sneakers. The new short is part of a multi-ad podcast campaign that recalls a series of television ads Adidas ran in the early 80’s for adicolor shoes, which could be customized with a set of colorful markers.
In the ad, Jameson is seen hammering away at a “whack-a-mole” game, feverishly pounding on small, colorful creatures that pop up from the machine’s inner workings. Jameson, clad in a white ensemble that leaves little to the imagination, eventually collapses in apparent exhaustion, giving the camera an opportunity to slowly pan up her prone form.
The ad was created by New York City-based designed studio Tronic, who have created graphics and added spice to advertising campaigns for a wide range of corporate clients, including ESPN, HBO, Marlboro, and Verizon.
“I had a blast making the commercial and was thrilled when I got to see the final product,” said Jameson. “I love Adidas and was so excited to be asked to participate in the ad. I feel fortunate to be part of the campaign.”
According to Adidas the podcast ads are a “film series celebrating color, customization and personal expression.” The company said that each director was given “a blank canvas to create a short film based on their emotional and creative response to a given color – Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Pink, Black, or White.”
Several bloggers have already noted (and screen-captured) a couple of “wardrobe malfunctions,” including moments in which Jameson’s nipples slip Janet-Jackson-like into the picture, leading some to speculate that Apple may move to censor the videocast, once word of the brief semi-nudity has spread.
In addition to Tronic, directors Roman Coppola, Saiman Chow, Andy Bruntel, Neill Blomkamp, Psyop, Charlie White, and Happy will also create ads for the Adidas podcast series.
