Jenna Jameson Becomes First Comedy Central Mobile Cartoon
CYBERSPACE – Fans and foes of mega porn sizzler Jenna Jameson’s enhanced form can honestly say that she looks like a cartoon character now that she’s about to become one – and a highly portable one, at that.
The petite AVN Award winner and mainstream favorite is poised to be the star of Comedy Central’s “Samurai Love God,” the company’s first original cartoon program for mobile phones and other devices.
Viacom-owned Comedy Central knows a strong media trend when it sees one, and plans to launch the 8×2.5” series before the end of this quarter and anticipates following the release with a number of similar ventures.
Voice talent for “Samurai Love God” will be provided by Jameson, as well as comedian Lisa Lampanelli, and Daily Show correspondent Ed Helms. The series’ characters will live in a far away and erotic environment where ancient seduction secrets have been inherited by each generation and passed on to the next.
The unique venture into mobisodes is part of a developing digital marketing strategy by Comedy Central since revealing the company’s original broadcasting agenda.
Lou Wallach, senior VP of original programming and development promises that “Samurai Love God” will be “the first of many mobile talent deals” that the company hopes to introduce.
