iWantClips Can Now Exchange Old Gift Cards for Fresh Credits
For individuals looking for a new way to make purchases on iWantClips, the answer may be gift cards. iWantClips is now accepting unused and partially used gift cards in exchange for site credits.
In a new partnership with PayGarden, iWantClips is now accepting retailer gift cards as an alternative payment method. According to the company, the new deal “instantly increases the number of alternative payment options offered through iWantClips and gives fans the ability to exchange over 100 major gift card brands into iWantClips credits.”
Gift cards now being accepted via the PayGarden partnership include Amazon, Apple, Best Buy, Banana Republic, Bass Pro Shops, Bath & Body Works, California Pizza Kitchen, Coach, Costco, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Express, Lululemon, Starbucks, Target, Walmart, Williams-Sonoma and others.
NB: The iWantClips blog is clear and careful to point out that they are in no way affiliated with any of these brands.
Here’s how it works:
1. Have a gift card from relevant brands like Starbucks and Target (or buy one for online delivery).
2. Enter the card’s details. iWantClips will then use the number and pin to check the remaining balance on the gift card.
3. iWantClips will give a credits trade-in offer based on the card’s balance.
Here are some example exchanges:
$25 Starbucks card — Load $20.00 in Funds
$32 Best Buy card — Load $25.50 in Funds
$50 Walmart card — Load $40.00 in Funds
Visit the iWantClips website with one of these cards, click on “Buy Clips with Gift Cards” button on the homepage header and follow the rest of the steps. At this time, this is only offered to US customers with US-issued gift cards. (International cards and transactions are not being accepted at this time.)
