iWantClips Adds New Adult-Friendly Alternative Payment Methods
In a statement released Friday, adult video clips platform iWantClips announced that it is “broadening its range of accepted payment methods to help European consumers pay even more flexibly and discreetly than before.”
“Given the large percentage of the EU that does not rely on credit or debit cards as a method of payment, IWC’s implementation of the new system opens the door to hundreds of millions of new customers,” the company said in its statement. “With no fees for customers, an easy to use interface, and zero chargebacks, this move will benefit both Artists and consumers, and ultimately drive more traffic to Studios and Stores on the site.”
iWantClips now accepts payments in the following forms: Bank Transfer for customers in Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Spain & Slovakia (reaching an estimated 430 million combined eligible customers)
Prepaid Card in 39 countries via Paysafecard (estimated 1.2 billion combined eligible customers)
Credit Transfers in 36 EU countries via DirectPayEU (estimated 619 million combined eligible customers)
“By being open to these kinds of purchases, customers can continue to use familiar and trusted payment methods with no card necessary to complete their transaction,” the statement continued. “All currencies will be local and reliable.”
In a blog post, iWantClips added that “many International customers are already familiar with these local payment methods, and have requested they be able to use them on iWantClips.”
“This update is very exciting, as the many European customers that do not use Credit or Debit cards will now have more ways than ever to securely and reliably make purchases on iWantClips store pages,” the company added in its post. “This roll out will also open our doors to many new International customers, allowing them to discover our incredible community of Artists while exploring their deepest fantasies. We look forward to welcoming them to our site.”
