Internext Las Vegas 2010 Announces Seminar Lineup
YNOT – Internext on Thursday announced the seminar lineup scheduled to take place during the annual digital adult entertainment industry trade show. The 2010 event will takes place Jan. 11-13 at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.The schedule includes Monday and Wednesday morning seminars and workshops that end by lunchtime in order to allow attendees more time to network in the exhibit hall, to be located in the Rain nightclub. Tuesday will feature a pair of Ultimate Networking opportunities — one in the morning; one in the afternoon — intended to enable connections between participants in a low-key breakfast or lunchtime setting.
“We’re going with a targeted lineup of seminars that focus on useful information that people can implement to improve the daily running of their businesses,” said AVN Senior Editor Tom Hymes, who coordinated the seminars and networking events. “We’re also excited to be able to offer a very timely panel on demystifying the mobile market, in addition to the notoriously popular Adult Business Strategy Roundtable. And, of course, the speed networking events, which have become a staple for adult internet trade show attendees.”

Creative Ways to Trim the Fat
Jan. 11, 9-10 a.m.
Subtitled “How to Reduce Business Costs Without Reducing Quality and Productivity,” this seminar presented by the Free Speech Coalition will walk adult business professionals through a number of painless options to reduce business expenses. Topics include creative staffing, low-cost marketing, how to curb billable hours for attorneys and ways to cut insurance costs.
Legal Seminar: Contracts and Litigation—Yes, It Applies to Adult
Jan. 11, 10-11 a.m.
Adult industry attorney Corey Silverstein will take participants through an often ignored but essential legal area that impacts every type of business decision. For the first time ever, this seminar will focus entirely on contract issues and litigation. The seminar also will utilize real examples and situations.
Answer the Call: The Mobile Market Demystified
Jan. 11, 11 a.m. to noon
Present by TopBucks Mobile, this intensive workshop will cover a broad range of subjects, from mobile browsing and sales trends to designing and delivering content to mobile devices. A panel of experienced professionals will address individual areas of expertise and field questions from the audience.

The attorneys also will explain how businesses can protect themselves and their investments in content production from common model issues by utilizing special shooting procedure protocols and releases tailored to the concerns of adult content production. The elements of copyright protection and Section 2257 compliance also will be a part of the breakfast menu.

Industry veterans moderated by Brad Mitchell will offer workshop participants their best practices and strategies for steering a path through the challenges of owning, operating and growing an online adult business. Managing growth to ensure a business stays ahead of its competition and at the top of its specific niche is essential. This seminar will be an open discussion about strategies and tactics to make business grow.
