Industry Veteran Connor Young Promoted to President of YNOT Network, LP
NORTHRIDGE, CA – YNOT Network is pleased to announce that industry veteran Connor Young, who has served as Editor-in-Chief of the popular webmaster resource site YNOT.com for the past several years, has been promoted to President of YNOT Network, LP. Young will take over the business direction of YNOT Network, which includes the company’s flagship site YNOT.com, a mainstay of the online adult professional community since 1996.“Considering that I first started using YNOT as a webmaster back in 1997, I’m both thrilled and a little humbled to be taking over here and helping this company reach new heights,” says Young. “YNOT is the original adult webmaster resource site, and the company has fought hard for its reputation for honesty and integrity. YNOT is universally known as a place where ethical adult webmasters can get the information they need to run a successful online business. I’m very proud to continue my part with this great company, and to serve as President of YNOT.”
YNOT Vice President Jay “LAJ” Kopita says that Young will keep YNOT moving in the right direction.
“Connor and I have worked well together for several years now, and even before that I was a big fan of his industry articles,” says Kopita. “He’s a very bright and capable guy, and he has a ton of great ideas about the future of YNOT. I’m definitely confident that we have the right guy for the job.”
Young started in the online adult entertainment business back in 1997, and he has worked in both the creative and business side of the industry. He served as Editor-in-Chief of TheAdultWebmaster.com for several years before that website was eventually acquired by YNOT Network in a 2003 deal between YNOT and AION Idea Group. Young has since acted as Editor-in-Chief of YNOT.com; he has a special interest in the industry’s various legal issues, and sits on the Board of Directors of the Free Speech Coalition. He has spoken at industry events that include Internext Expo, Cybernet Expo and the Phoenix Forum, and has also been published in AVN Online magazine and Klixxx magazine.
Connor will replace former YNOT President Jim Ruga, who expressed a desire to return to a research and development position within YNOT Network. Jim will head up specialty projects at YNOT, and use his extensive Web development skills to investigate new cutting edge technologies.
