Incumbents Win Re-election to FSC Board
CANOGA PARK, Calif. – All eight incumbents vying for re-election to the Free Speech Coalition’s board of directors were re-elected, the adult industry trade organization announced Wednesday.
Kink.com founder Peter Acworth, attorney Jeffrey Douglas, magazine publisher Alec Helmy, Vivid Entertainment Vice President Marci Hirsch, Good Vibrations owner Joel Kaminsky, industry legal analyst Mark Kernes, attorney Reed Lee, and Classic Erotica Sales Director Lynn Swanson kept their seats, emerging victorious from a field of 12 candidates.
“We had a great turnout for voting, so we wanted to thank every member who took the time to fill out the ballot,” FSC Chief Executive Officer Diane Duke said. “Now, more than ever, the industry needs strong representation to legislators and the public.
“FSC is proud to be able to work with leading professionals in the industry, both with our board members and our supporters,” she added. “These are the people that take an active role in leading, protecting and supporting the growth and wellbeing of the adult entertainment community.”
The FSC board consists of 13 members. Adam & Eve’s Bob Christian, ElDorado Trading’s Larry Garland, MOXXX Productions’ Mo Reese, ATMLA’s Mark Schechter and NakedSword’s Tim Valenti continue to serve unexpired terms.
